Special Teachers/People:

Mr. Steve Maison, MM, OK

Mr. Maison, or as we lovingly called him, “Coach”, was my high school choir and piano teacher for several years. I accompanied Concert Choir in Stillwater, Oklahoma and several musicals, “Oklahoma”, was one where I remember struggling with the ‘dream’ sequence under the dancers. The pianist had to play steady rhythm and the parts were hard. You had to play all the rehearsals for all the soloists to learns the music. No recordings to go by either –!

To be continued. . . 🙂
